A Glance into Writers Workshop!
Mini-Lesson: We start each Writers Workshop with a mini-lesson. The mini-lesson will either introduce or extend the Target Skill in which we are learning about.
Writing Time: After our mini-lesson, the children get a chance to write! As they write, I confer with individual students.
Author’s Chair: A few times a week, we have an Author’s Chair time. This 5-10 minute block of time is a chance for the children to share what they have been working on.
